Antonio Marques

 

Founder of the Digital-Folders Network

 

Marques is currently living in Cologne, Germany, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Genetics. He moved there from Faro, Portugal, where he graduated in biochemistry. As for where he’ll move next that is always a mystery. 

He has several hobbies and passions in his life:

  • Photography - this is an old one. Photography and now digital photography has been a part of his life for a long time. You can see some of his photography work at Inspiration: ambiguity. There you’ll find his photoblog Light: delirious and his blog Words: irrational dedicated to photography with tips, opinions, tutorials, etc.
  • Technology - As a big part of his life has been dedicated to science, it’s natural that he’s attracted to technology subjects. But he’s also fond of new gadgets and electronics and understanding how they work.
  • Reading & Writing - Who doesn’t like a good book? Marques is an avid reader and a good book can keep him busy for hours on end. As for writing, he is giving the first serious steps on that direction. “The world of the word is a beautiful one.”

The development of the Digital-Folders Network was, to begin with, his way of sharing his hobbies with the world. Now it’s becoming a way to group together like-minded individuals who are passionate about writing about their likes and expertises and broadcast this knowledge with the world.

That is what the Digital-Folders Network is all about.
