Being included in a network of blogs has many advantages, including the added traffic it may bring, easiness to sell ad space and, of course, the links you’ll get from all the blogs on the network.
The positions we offer can be divided in three groups:

Blog Integration
We are currently accepting self-hosted blogs to join the Digital-Folders Network.
Don’t worry, when we talk about integration, it doesn’t mean you’ll loose control of your blog or your content. Everything stays exactly as it is. It just means that your blog will be featured in our list of associated blogs and we’ll make it available for advertisers to buy advertising space.
Usually, the integration process is fairly simple: all that is required is reservation of ad space in your template to be made available for sale through our network (number of spots and sizes to be discussed). In these spaces, you can run whatever ads you wish (you probably already have AdSense or affiliate ads running somewhere in your sidebars), up to the moment that the network sells the space. From this point on, the advertiser ad starts running. This whole process is done through our ad server, but you’ll get to know more about the mechanisms after your application.
For these spaces, we share time and revenue on a 25-75% basis to you. Any other form of blog monetization is up to you and we won’t interfere with that.
The advantages for you are obvious: besides the extra traffic that a network generates, your blog will be featured in all the other blogs in the network via a sidebar link; also, we actively interact with potential advertisers making it easier for you to sell direct advertisement.
We’ll also include you in our team page. In your biography, if you wish, you can have links to any other website you own.
Independent bloggers who manage to attract other bloggers into the network are offered a percentage of the revenue generated by the ad space sold in those new blogs.
Also guaranteed is our full support for any advice you might require.
New Blog
When you apply to create a new blog in our network you are asked for a brief description of your idea for the new blog. If we approve it, you’ll have a choice between two types of domain: yourblogname.digital-folders.com or www.yourblogname.(com)(net). In the first case, name availability should not be a problem since we have control on that. In the second case, you need to check for domain availability. We recommend www.instantdomainsearch.com for its ease of use. After you have found a suitable name, we’ll register it and point it to our network. In either case you do not have to worry about hosting the blog.
In your new domain you’ll get a fresh installation of the Wordpress blogging platform with a number of plugins pre-installed and a theme of your choice (blog logo and theme colors are fully customizable).
You can administrate your blog in any way you want and choose whatever monetization plans you wish to generate revenue from your blog. We can give you some advice on this if you require. In the themes we have reserved 2 spaces for advertisement. When any of the spaces is directly sold, you get 50% of this revenue. Any other space is yours to monetize as you wish.
Basically, it’s your own blog. Develop it and expand it to suit your needs and your readers needs.
Incoming links from all the other blogs in the network are also guaranteed.
We’ll also include you in our team page. In your biography, if you wish, you can have links to any other website you own.
Same as above, Independent bloggers who manage to attract other bloggers into the network are offered a percentage of the revenue generated by the ad space sold in those new blogs.
- WHAT WE REQUIRE?
If you choose to become an independent blogger for the network, we require a bit more effort than for guest bloggers. Creating a new blog for you will require an investment of time from us. So, we expect that you understand that and, for the benefit of all, do everything you can to expand your blog. Blogging is a long-term effort that requires dedication and a huge amount of patience until you start seeing the benefits. Again, we don’t want a network of dead blogs. Before applying for an independent blogger position check if you are going to be committed to your new home online.
We do not allow blogs dedicated to gambling, adult content, illegal content or any other fishy topics. Think before you apply.
Guest Bloggers
Guest bloggers are bloggers that do not “own” a blog on the network but simply write for any of the existing blogs who’s owners open this kind of position on their blogs.
At the moment, the Digital-Folders Network includes the following blogs with open positions for Guest bloggers:
As a Guest Blogger, for each post you write, and depending on the post size, one or two Google adsense units will be added in post. At the current time, we share with you 100% of the revenue generated by these in post ad blocks. This means that every click on one of these ads will generate a revenue that is going in full to your account.
Note that you require your own Google adsense account. This gives you full control on payment options as well as complete reports on how your ad blocks are doing. Don’t have an account with Adsense? Sign up for AdSense.
We’ll also include you in our team page. In your biography, if you wish, you can have links to any other website you own.
For both Independent and Guest Bloggers

- You win: quality content generates interest in readers and makes them willing to come back, meaning greater possibilities for ad revenue. Also, an engaged reader is much more prone to follow the links to your own website which means targeted traffic your way.
- We win: Visitors that take something out of our site are much more prone to come back. We are interested in supplying our visitors with the best possible information on the subjects at hand, developing credibility and brand awareness.
- Visitors win: Visitors come here for content and information. Good structured quality content addressing their questions and concerns makes their visit time worth it. If our visitors are happy with us, what more can we ask?
Quality content. With quality content we have a win-win-win situation:
Unique content. Please do not apply to be a blogger for our network if you just intend to reprint content found in other websites. We require that the content be unique.
Edited content. Check your typing and grammar before sending anything.
