This post is part of the series “Blogging ABC” and can be also found in our “Resources for Bloggers” page.
So now you have your own blog and you can even write the best content in the world… and still feels like an isolated island. Why won’t people visit your blog? Simple, because they don’t know about it…
Blogging is all about interaction. If you try to do it without interacting with fellow bloggers and readers, your blog is going down in flames.
What to do to generate traffic for your blog?
How to bring those visitors in?
So much has been written about this topic that it would be a waste of time to rewrite all again.
A very good starting point is an article written by Tay at Supper Blogging. He goes into detail into 75 Ways to Increase you site’s Traffic. I recommend all the bloggers in the network to read it and implement what you can from there. It’s a sure way to bring visitors to read your content.
From the 75 list, I’ll extract the points that I think are the most important ones and you should start working on them right now.
Again, you should go through Tay’s post and try to implement as many of those as you can. Nonetheless, from the list, the 13 above are the ones that will bring you more traffic. Start on them right now and you little isolated island will turn into a major site.
